From Monday's class I learned........

....to get an accurate picture in the wild of an animal, you have to do research to understand its natural habitat.
--Katie

....the rule of thirds can make a picture look better than if the subject is centered.
--Dana

....the smaller the aperture (number i.e. F/2) the faster the shutter speed has to be.
--Eve

...use the rule of thirds to know where to place the subject.
--Helena

...what the aperture does and how the shutter speed are correlated to achieve the proper exposure. The aperture affects the picture by increasing or decreasing the depth of field.
--Jennie

...faster shutter speed stops motion, slower shutter speed blurs the subject, showing motion.
--Ashley

...capturing an image at an unusual angle makes it more interesting and often more aesthetically appealing. Fast shutter speeds can capture action shots without blur.
--Suzy

...(depending on the lens) that there are not any focusing rings, but you can also push a trigger to focus a lens.
--Mary

...that the photos taken by many of the students were interesting because they were seen in a different perspective and was impressed by their work.
--Amber

...don't erase a picture in your camera. You might erase something you didn't mean to erase. Wait to download all the images, then you can edit the frames you don't want.
